TACOMA, WA – The Tacoma Stars have announced the signing of former University of Puget Sound Loggers forward Sam Zisette. As per team and Major Arena Soccer League policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Zisette was named to the All-NWC First Team in his senior year with the Loggers. He spent this summer with the Sounders U23 and is looking forward to representing another local club.

“I am thrilled to have signed for the Tacoma Stars. Tacoma is a special place for me and I can’t wait to represent a city I lived in for five years. I am also extremely excited to play in front of my family, friends, and all of the great Stars fans. The Stars legacy is incredible and I am grateful to be a part of it,” Zisette about his signing.

Tacoma Stars General Manager and Head Coach Darren Sawatzky also commented on the addition of Zisette to his roster. “Sam is a local player who I have been working with on some level since his days with the Washington EPD program. He had a great run at the University of Puget Sound, he trained with us last winter before heading to Spain to play, and this past summer with the Sounders U23 team was another step up the ladder. Sam is ready to compete for time this winter and we are glad he is staying home with his home town Tacoma Stars.”
