Waltman, Antoniuk Named To MASL Team Of The Week
TACOMA, Wash. -- Tacoma Stars goalkeeper Danny Waltman and forward Dan Antoniuk have been named to the Major Arena Soccer League Team of the Week for week three, the league announced today.
Waltman recorded 16 saves on 17 shots and allowed only one goal to the Sacramento Surge in Tacoma’s 5-1 victory on Friday. His one goal allowed was the fewest allowed by a starting goalie in the MASL last week.
Antoniuk led the Stars offense on Friday night with a hat trick, scoring one goal in the opening minute of the match and a pair of goals in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
