Tacoma, WA- The MASL has announced the Team of the Week for Week 12 with goalkeeper Danny Waltman and forward Nick Perera receiving honors. Waltman played three games in four days and led the Stars to a 2-1 record, recording a .742 Save Percentage through the weekend.

Head Coach Darren Sawatzky said "Danny has been a warrior for us the past few years and he is always busy on game day. We are happy for him as he had a good weekend."

“The Tacoma Stars are ready to take the next step towards the playoffs and added Perera to help them get there. He hasn’t disappointed either, especially during Week 12. He scored five goals and five assists to help his team go 2-1 over four days” the League said about Perera. He currently has the longest scoring streak for Tacoma at four games. He has scored in every game as a Star.

Sawatzky added "Nick has made an immediate impact with our team in the past week and scored some important goals. It's nice to see his name on the team of the week."
