TACOMA STARS SECOND ANNUAL TEDDY BEAR TOSS SET FOR THIS SUNDAY

by Cory Howerton

Kent, WA – The Tacoma Stars  return to the accesso ShoWare Center this Sunday, December 15th to take on the Ontario Fury  for their second annual teddy bear toss, benefiting Toys-For-Tots.

Tacoma returns home after defeating the Turlock Cal Express dramatic overtime fashion on Friday night,  as Adam West scored the game winner at 7:26 of the extra session to give the orange and blue their first win of the young campaign.

This Sunday’s game is the Stars annual teddy bear toss benefiting Toys-For-Tots.  Fans are encouraged to bring a new (or lightly loved) stuff animal to the match, and when Tacoma scores their first goal of the game, throw it onto the field.

All stuffed animals will be collected and delivered to Toy-For-Tots in time for the holiday season.  A limited number of stuffed bears will be available at the Stars merchandise stand for purchase.

Tickets are still available for this and all Stars games by visiting http://bit.ly/TACTIXX.

Following Sunday, Tacoma hits the road for five consecutive matches before returning to the friendly confines of the accesso ShoWare Center on Friday January 10th to take on the Turlock Cal Express at 7:35pm.
