Tacoma Stars add experience and leadership to the young Sounders U23 developmental squad
Chase Hanson, Derek Johnson, and Vince McCluskey return for the Sounders U23 in 2017 after playing the winter for the Tacoma Stars. Cory Keitz and Trevor Jenson, also Tacoma Stars players, add veteran leadership to the Sounders U23 team after playing for the Kitsap Pumas the past two years.
The Sounders U23 and Sounders Women teams kick off their 2017 campaigns in May! Partner teams to your Tacoma Stars, the amateur affiliates to Sounders FC will again work to develop players and help them move up to chase the dream of professional soccer.
The Sounders U23 team has helped place over 60 players into professional contracts in the past five years with DeAndre Yedlin and Jordan Morris highlighting a vast pool of talented players that have played for the U23's. The team kicks off on May 10th in the US Open Cup followed by the PDL opener on May 19th. Please see the home schedule below.

The Sounders Women have operated in the Pro-Am world of women's soccer for nearly two decades having helped place many players into the professional game as well as the different national teams in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Sounders Women kick off the 2017 WPSL Season on May 27th in Vancouver, CA. Please see the full schedule below.
