STARS WIN SECOND CONSECUTIVE MATCH, 4-1 AT CAPITAL FC ATLETICO

Despite conceding an early 1-0 lead to the Capital FC, the Stars netted four unanswered markers, including two by Nani Mendoza to pick up their second consecutive victory of the season, 4-1 on Sunday.

Francisco Mangana put the home team up with his goal in the 19th minute and that would prove to be the only goal of the game for Capital FC. 

Trailing by that 1-0 score to start the second half, the Stars found the equalizing goal off the foot of Richard-Miguel Lapointe-Guevara int the 48th minute.

Mendoza, 42nd minute sub in for the Stars then scored goals in the 52nd and 88th minute to give Tacoma a 3-1 lead late in the match.

Charlie Kosakoff found the back of the net in the 95th minute to seal the 4-1 win for Tacoma. 

The Stars will play their next match on Sunday, June 2 at Lane United before returning home on June 5 to battle West Seattle Junction FC at 7:30 pm at Bellarmine Memorial Field. Tickets for all Stars and Galaxy games are available at https://linktr.ee/tacomastars.
