STARS STOCK ROSTER SIGNING THREE LOCAL PLAYERS
TACOMA, WA. – With the 2019-20 MASL season just underway, the Tacoma Stars are still filling their roster and have announced the addition of three local players. Ismael Deluna, Adrian Correa, and Logan Jones each have multiple season experience in the Western Indoor Soccer League, including time with the Stars Reserves.
Deluna joined the Stars Reserves this season after posting a 24-point campaign (5G-19A) for the Olympic Force in 2018-19. The Poulsbo native also has elite level outdoor experience with playing time for the Kitsap Pumas, Olympic Force, and Nido Aguila Seattle. In 2018, while with Kitsap, he was named to the Football Manager Premier Soccer League Team of the Week.
Jones is a product of the Tacoma Stars system in which he spent the last two seasons playing for the Tacoma Stars Reserves. Last year, he was a key component in the WISL’s stingiest defense, and an undefeated title run racking up 10 points (7G-3A) in 12 games. Jones spends his summers playing with the WPFC U23 side that has won back to back EPLWA titles alongside other Stars players Mike Arguello and Eddie Na. Jones picked up his first MASL point on Adam West’s game-winner in overtime at Turlock Indoor Soccer last week.
Correa, a graduate of Auburn-Riverside High School and member of Tacoma Community College’s Northwest Athletic Conference Championship team spent the past two seasons with the Stars Reserves. He tallied 13 points (6G-7A) during his time with the Reserves. His outdoor experience boasts an impressive 13 year run with Washington Premier.
The Stars return home Sunday December 15 at 5:05 pm for the annual Teddy Bear Toss game against the Ontario Fury. Bring a stuffed animal and when the Stars get their first goal, let them fly on to the field! All stuffed animals go to benefit Toys for Tots. Get your tickets today!
