STARS SIGN FREE-AGENT VETERAN PABLO DA SILVA

TACOMA, WA. – The Tacoma Stars have announced the signing of Major Arena Soccer League veteran and free-agent Pablo da Silva. Da Silva appeared in 20 games last season with the Cedar Rapids Rampage and St. Louis Ambush. In those games he racked up 25 points on 10 goals and 15 assists. In addition, da Silva notched four power play goals on the year.

Da Silva’s impressive 20-year pro soccer career includes eight years as a pro in the indoor game. The Florianopolis, Brazil native picked up back-to-back MISL Championships with the Milwaukee Wave in 2010-11 and 2011-12. He also has indoor stops with the Baltimore Blast and Chicago Soul. Da Silva will join the Stars as they continue their road trip January 4, 2019.

Stars Head Coach, Nick Perera, is confident about the addition of Da Silva’s to the roster. “Pablo brings immense experience and technical ability to our team and we are excited to welcome him to the Tacoma Stars” 

The Stars continue their road trip in 2019 when they play the El Paso Coyotes on January 4 at 5:00 pm. Stars road games are streamed live on www.masl.tv with live stats available at www.maslsoccer.com.
