Stars Primed For Intersquad Scrimmage

TACOMA, Wash. -- In preparation for the 2016-17 Major Arena Soccer League season, the Tacoma Stars will host an intersquad scrimmage open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 6:00 p.m. PT at the Tacoma Soccer Center.

Stars season ticket holders will receive entry into the event free of charge, while the general public can catch all the action for just $5 per person.

The event will mark the Stars first live action available to fans since the conclusion of their playoff run in the 2015-16 season. Tacoma returns nearly their entire playoff roster from their first full season in the MASL, and welcomes numerous talented additions.

The scrimmage will be held at the Tacoma Stars practice facility, the Tacoma Soccer Center located at 2610 Bay Street Tacoma, Washington 98421.

Led by goalkeeper Danny Waltman, forward Joey Gjertsen, defender Evan McNeley, and many others, the Stars will kick off their 2016-17 season against Soles De Sonora on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 6:05 p.m. PT at the ShoWare Center.
