STARS PLAY FIRST OF TWO TONIGHT IN THE BIG "D"

The Tacoma Stars (6-8) return to Texas this weekend for a pair of matches against Dallas on Saturday and then the short trip to Mesquite on Sunday to battle the Outlaws. This will be the second and final meeting between the Stars and Sidekicks (213), the previous meeting ending in a 6-4 victory for Dallas on January 5 in Texas.  

Arthur Ivo, who sits second on the Dallas roster offensively (11G-1A), registered a hat -trick against Tacoma in the first meeting. Luis Felipe Xavier De Andrade leads the team in points (8G-5A) and Freddy Moojen (10G-2A) round out the Sidekicks leading scorers.  

Tacoma is led on offense by Nick Perera with 38 points (19G-19A). The team leader in goals with 22 is Mike Ramos, who also is second on the squad in scoring with 33 points (22G-11A). Alex Caceres is third in production with 18 points (8G-10A). 

The Stars are coming off back to back 10 goal games against Harrisburg and Turlock. Dallas is looking to end a six-game skid while Tacoma comes in off a victory their last time out. The Stars are 2-5 on the road this season and have not played away from the accesso ShoWare Center since the game in Dallas in January.  Dallas is 2-6 at the Allen Event Center this season with their two wins coming against Tacoma and the Kansas City Comets.  Tonight is their second game in two nights and their fourth in just eight days.
