STARS OPEN USL LEAGUE TWO PLAY THIS SUNDAY VS BALLARD FC

TACOMA, WA – The Tacoma Stars will kick off their USL League Two journey on Sunday by hosting the reigning League Champions, Ballard FC at Bellarmine Memorial Stadium at 2 pm.

The festivities began on Friday, May 10 at mid-pitch as the Stars held a press conference officially introducing the Stars and USL W League Tacoma Galaxy to the public. The event drew such speakers as U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, Mayor of Tacoma Victoria Woodards, and more.

The Stars, coached by Liviu Bird, are in their first season in League Two action and will play 14 games between Sunday and July 14 with seven home games played on the Bellarmine campus.
