STARS CANCEL MARCH 13TH GAME AT SHOWARE CENTER

Tacoma, WA. –  This morning, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee announced a ban on events with gatherings over 250 people due to the wide spread concern of the COVID-19 virus.  In conjunction with the accesso ShoWare Center, the Major Arena Soccer League and local officials, the Tacoma Stars have announced that the game scheduled for this Friday, March 13th versus the San Diego Sockers at the accesso ShoWare Center has been cancelled. 

As a result, the game against the Sockers will be played at the Tacoma Soccer Center on Friday night at 7:35 PM limiting the total number of people in attendance to 180.

Season ticket holders that wish to attend the game on Friday the 13th at the Tacoma Soccer Center will have the opportunity to enter a lottery system.  Fans must notify the Stars via email ONLY to info@tacomastars.com by 5:00 PM on Thursday March 12th  to be entered into the ticket lottery.  Winners will be notified via email if they have been selected to attend the game.

As this is an ever evolving situation, we will keep all fans updated through social media and www.tacomastars.com.  We appreciate your patience as we work through this very unique situation, and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Fans attending Friday’s match at the Tacoma Soccer Center that have received tickets through the lottery system MUST BRING THEIR ORIGINAL GAME TICKET with them to the Soccer Center. Physical tickets will be collected at entry. Digital tickets and PDF’s on cell phones will not be accepted.

BECU MILITARY APPRECIATION JERSEY AUCTION

The BECU Military Appreciation jersey auction will continue as scheduled, with bidding closing at the conclusion of the game on Friday night at the Tacoma Soccer Center.

Fans can bid on their favorite player jersey by downloading the LiveSource App.  Jerseys will be sent to the winners following the match.

All proceeds from the BECU Military Appreciation jersey auction will benefit the JBLM Fisher House.  

REFUNDS AND CREDITS

All ticket holders that have purchased seats for Friday night’s game against the Sockers at the accesso ShoWare Center, are eligible for a refund on their ticket (unless they are selected through the lottery system to attend the match at the Tacoma Soccer Center).

Refunds for all tickets should come from the original point of purchase.  If you purchased an individual game ticket through the ShoWare Center box office, you must return that ticket to the arena to receive your refund.

Group tickets purchased through the Tacoma Stars ticket office for Friday’s game will be refunded automatically.  There is no need to return your tickets. 

Tickets purchased through the Tacoma Stars third party ticket vendor, FEVO, will also be automatically refunded. 

All refunds could take 7-10 business days. 

Tacoma Stars season tickets holders that are not able to attend the game at the Tacoma Soccer Center may use the value of their unused tickets toward their 2020-21 season tickets.
