Stars Announce Partnership With Ruffneck Scarves

TACOMA, Wash. -- The Tacoma Stars have reached an agreement with Ruffneck Scarves to become the “Official Scarf Partner of the Tacoma Stars”, the club announced today.

Ruffneck has established themselves as one of the leading providers of scarves for the soccer industry. Ownership and management of the Stars have a strong and long-running relationship with Ruffneck owner Jeff McIntyre.

“When it came to finding a partner to do our scarves, it was a no-brainer, Ruffneck was our go-to,” Stars VP of Business Development John Crouch said. “Jeff has always invested in the soccer community and created quality products throughout our region. We are proud to be working with Ruffneck to deliver the highest quality scarves and best designs for our supporters.”

Ruffneck also serves as the official scarf provider for Major League Soccer, U.S. Soccer, NCAA soccer, and the United Soccer League.

The Stars will be unveiling two scarf designs to kick off the 2015-16 season – the Satellite Supporter scarf will be the first of many for fans in the newest supporter section in the MASL. Season ticket purchasers in the Satellite Supporter section will receive one of these scarves complimentary with their season ticket package as a way for the Stars to say thank you for joining the Satellites.
