Tacoma, WA. – The Major Arena Soccer League trade deadline passed at 5 pm PST Thursday and the Tacoma Stars completed a last-minute deal. In an exchange for future considerations, the Stars are bringing defender Evan McNeley back to Tacoma from the Ontario Fury.

McNeley has appeared in nine games for the Fury this season with nine points on six goals and three assists. He has been a key member the Fury special teams as well as defense with three power play goals to his credit.

He brings tremendous experience, he’s a leader, and he’s a unique player who can help us at both ends of the field. Bringing Evan back was a priority for us all, and I’m very excited to see his contributions on the field and in the locker room. Welcome back Evan!”
