New ShoWare Policies

accesso ShoWare Center Announcing Updated Security and Safety Policies 

  

[KENT, WA] Beginning September 1, 2021, accesso ShoWare Center in Kent will be updating arena safety protocols and policies which include: 

 

Clear Bag Policy  

Clear bags no larger than 12" x 12" x 6" are allowed. One-gallon clear plastic Ziploc bags are allowed. 4.5"x 6.5" clutches are allowed. 

Security must be able to see inside and identify items to the bottom of the bag. Items may not be used to obscure the view of bag contents, including but not limited to non-clear bags, pouches, etc. Bags with interior contents obscured from view are not allowed.  

 

Walk-through metal detectors will be used at events taking place at accesso ShoWare Center.  

Please be advised that this new security measure may add time to the process of entering the arena, so fans are encouraged to allow additional time for entry. Patrons are also encouraged to bring only necessary items with them in order to ensure a smooth and timely arena entry. 

  

All clear bags will be checked before entrants pass through the metal detectors. There will be signage and staff to help direct fans. 

 

Cashless Transactions 

accesso ShoWare Center will only allow card transactions at the venue box office and for food & beverage transactions. 

 

Smoke-Free Facility 

accesso ShoWare Center will be discontinuing the use of the exterior smoking section and guests will no longer be permitted to leave the building and re-enter in order to smoke.

AROUND THE MASL

Free agency update - The free agent market is only open to players whose contracts have expired and the MASL will continue to enforce all current player contracts and term-end dates. A player will only be recognized as a free agent following the expiration of his contract or by being released from his contractual obligations by his current team.

The US National Futsal team heads to Lithuania this week to participate in the Fifa Futsal World Cup.  The team goes with the head coach of the Dallas Sidekicks Pablo Da Silva as their Assistant Head Coach.  The team also has three current players from the MASL; David Ortiz of the Dallas Sidekicks, Zach Reget of the Florida Tropics and Diego Bobadilla-Mireles of the St. Louis Ambush.
