MIKE RAMOS NAMED TO MASL TEAM OF THE WEEK

Tacoma, WA. – Stars midfielder Mike Ramos turned in a five point performance, scoring three goals with a pair of assists on his way to being named First Star of the game in Tacoma’s 10-3 win over Turlock last Friday. His outing also landed him on the Week 12 MASL Team of the Week.

For the season, Ramos leads Tacoma in goals scored with 22 and is second on the team in scoring with 33 points. He also leads the squad in game winning goals with two, including the game winner in Tacoma’s 7-6 win over Monterrey. 

In addition to his five points against Turlock, he also racked up five (3G-2A) in the game before versus Harrisburg and four (2G-2A) in the Monterrey match giving him 14 points over his last three outings.

Ramos joins Alex Caceres as Tacoma Stars players who have received the honor of Team of the Week nominations.

The Stars are on the road next week for a pair of games in Texas. First up is date in Dallas with the Sidekicks on Saturday February 15 at 5:05 pm PST. The following night it’s off to Mesquite where the Stars will look to tame the Outlaws at 3:05 pm PST. You can catch all the action live on MASL.tv.
