JOSEPH ‘THE JET’ CAIREL IS BACK!

by Pete Richmire

TACOMA, WA. – The Tacoma Stars have announced that Joseph ‘The Jet’ Cairel will be returning for his fourth season with the team. As per Major Arena Soccer League and team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Cairel is from Livermore, CA and has playing in Brazil as a teenager on his soccer resume prior to joining the Stars. He made 15 appearances last season for Tacoma and picked up 12 points on nine goals and three assists. In his MASL career, he has 37 points (24G-13A) in 50 games played.

Darren Sawatzky, GM and Head Coach, commented on Cairel’s signing. “Joseph is a dynamic midfield player for us with the Tacoma Stars. Watching him play in the PDL a couple years back, we knew he would develop into an exciting arena player. Having him back to run off the front line is great, and we expect him to build on last year and put up some numbers this season.”
