GALAXY OPEN USL W LEAGUE PLAY ON THE ROAD THIS SATURDAY

TACOMA, WA – The Tacoma Galaxy will open their USL W League journey on the road this Saturday at FC Olympia at 7 pm,.

The festivities began on Friday, May 10 at mid-pitch as the Stars held a press conference officially introducing the Stars and USL W League Tacoma Galaxy to the public. The event drew such speakers as U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, Mayor of Tacoma Victoria Woodards, and more.

The Galaxy, coached by Scott Ford, are in their first season in W League action and will play 10 games between Saturday and June 30 with five home games played on the Bellarmine campus.

May 26 at 2 pm will be the home opener for the Galaxy as they welcome United PDX to Memorial Stadium.
