GALAXY OPEN HOME SCHEDULE WITH 2-0 LOSS TO UNITED PDX

Tacoma, WA - The Tacoma Galaxy opened their 2024 home schedule on Sunday against United PDX and withstood constant pressure from the visitors but came up short 2-0 at full time. United PDX benefitted from a penalty kick in the first half and tacked on another goal in the second half to defeat the Galaxy.

Amalia Chamberland, the Galaxy starting keeper, allowed just the penalty kick goal and finished the game with eight saves as the Galaxy were outshot by a lopsided amount in the match.
