TACOMA, WA – The Tacoma Stars are pleased to announce that CityMD Urgent Care will be the jersey partner for the Stars 2018-19 Major Arena Soccer League season. The Stars unveiled their new kit today at the Kent CityMD location. Joe Passanante, MD and Tyler Munson, MD from CityMD along with Stars Owner Lane Smith and Midfielder Phillip Lund revealed the first look at the new jersey. CityMD has seven locations throughout the Puget Sound region with care led by emergency medicine physicians, a focus on a positive patient experience and average wait times of eight minutes.

As part of its continued partnership with the Stars, CHI Franciscan is happy to bring CityMD in as the front of jersey partner. “We are excited to be an active participant in the communities we serve and to partner with the Tacoma Stars through our CHI Franciscan relationship as CityMD continues to grow in the Puget Sound area,” said Joe Passanante, MD, Senior Vice President of Medical Operations, CityMD.

CHI Franciscan Health and CityMD have partnered in the Pacific Northwest to raise the standard of urgent care, bring easy access to high quality medical care, and create healthier communities.

“This gives the Tacoma Stars a fresh new look to our iconic jersey and also celebrates a great partnership with CityMD and CHI Franciscan,” said Lane Smith, Owner of the Tacoma Stars.

The Kent CityMD is open from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday-Friday and is located at 12924 SE Kent-Kangley Rd., Kent, WA 98030. Wait times can be found online

CityMD’s urgent care model employs primarily board-certified emergency medicine doctors, so that patients receive quality care. Additionally, CityMD’s Aftercare program provides vital follow-up services to patients and helps to connect them with a full continuum of primary and specialty care services.
