ALEX MEGSON BACK ON OFFENSE FOR STARS

TACOMA, WA. – The 2016-17 Tacoma Stars leading scorer Alex Megson will be returning for his third season with the team. As per Major Arena Soccer League and team policy, terms of the agreement were not released. 

Tacoma native Megson netted 28 points (12G-16A) for a 1.47 points-per-game average in his first year for the Stars. He has 59 points (33G-26A) in 46 MASL career games. In addition to the Stars, Megson has also spent time with the Dallas Sidekicks who Tacoma hosts Friday December 7 at the accesso ShoWare Center.

Said head coach and GM, Darren Sawatzky, “Alex is a legacy player for us at the Stars and he has been a good pro the past two seasons. He has scored a couple important goals in that time and we expect the same from him this year.”
